Mr. Franklin’s law practice includes the representation of
franchisors from across the country and counseling franchisees
and small and mid-sized businesses located throughout Scotland,
Wales and Northern Ireland. Mr. Franklin has litigated corporate
and franchise law matters in the Scottish Courts and Tribunals
Service, and has been involved in numerous arbitrations before
the Scottish Arbitration Centre.
Mr. Franklin is a member of The Scottish Solicitors Bar
Association (SSBA) and The Edinburgh Bar Association EBA.
Mr. Franklin is a member of the Scottish Solicitors Bar
Association's (SSBA) Forum on Franchising and is a Chair
Emeritus of the Scottish Franchise and Distribution Law
Committee.
Mr. Franklin earned his Juris Doctor in 1998 from The University
of Edinburgh Law School in South Bridge, Edinburgh. Mr. Franklin
earned his undergraduate degree in political science from the
University of Glasgow, Glasgow, United Kingdom.
Mr. Franklin was born and raised in Cumbernauld, North
Lanarkshire, and is a graduate of The Royal Scottish Academy (RSA),
located in Edinburgh, United Kingdom.
